This is just to express our gratitude towards our Healthworkers who are trying to save our lives, the people who work hard to save the community from this pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about a lull in local sporting over the past few months with no a lot of live action to look forward to. Cricket enthusiasts have been confined to their homes just like the rest of the world. At a time like this, people who share a common interest has brought about the Dorset Indian CC Chairman pursue an online training to  devise new ways of ensuring that cricketers continue to better themselves and monitor their fitness.

Recruiting new players 2021 Season!!!

 As with previous seasons, we are always on the lookout for new players of any age ability and background for our 2021 Hampshire League cricket matches.

 

Whether you want to return to playing cricket after a break, new to the area or simply love the idea of taking more exercise in a social setting, come to Dorset Indians Cricket Club - where we will welcome you.


Our winter training will start in the second week of January 2021 till the end of April.

2021 Charity Cricket Match& Family Fun Day

We are doing a family-friendly coffee morning with Indian snacks and a cricket tournament that will take place at the same time. There will be lots of fun activities for kids and a FREE training session from our well known DorsetIndians Cricket Team. Please support and help to put a smile on the faces of Julia's house children.

Making Poole's NHS healthworkers SMILE

People who work looking after our health have a really important job, especially at the moment. From doctors to nurses, pharmacists to cleaners - health workers are working really hard to look after people who are unwell. So to show them just how much people appreciate what they're doing, people have been saying thank you via the "SMILE ? Challenge”.  We have been collecting donations and supplied drinks including snacks accomplished by the One Community Group & Dorset IndiansCricket Club. #ThankYouNHS ?

“Dorset Indians” named as runners-up of the Hampshire Cricket League Division 1

After being promoted from Division Two as champions the previous season, Dorset Indians found found consistency and momentum and won games in a commanding fashion. We will be looking to build on this remarkable success going into the 2019-20 season.

Dorset Indians Cricket Club Raised a Whopping £340 for Julias House

Dorset indians Cricket Club had a very successful charity event on Saturday 04th May 2019. Together we raised a whopping £340 for "Julias House". The players who spend their day for a good cause and all who visited and helped us to raise and support the hospice

“Dorset Indians” CHAMPIONS of the Hampshire Cricket League Division 2

We are happy to announce that Dorset Indians Cricket Club has clinched the Division Two title and has been promoted to play in (RD) Division 1 for the season 2019. We are thanking all the cricket lovers of Dorset and all over the world who has been supported us to win the tag of “Champion”.

Club raised a massive £430 for Julia's House

Dorest Indians Cricket Club hosted a charity Cricket 20 match in Poole to raise money for Julia’s House, a charity which helps local children who have life limiting conditions. The cricket match, which took place on Saturday 28th April 2018, was a family event open to everyone at Branksome Park Recreation Ground.

Dorset Indians CC player’s ages range from under 10’s right through to those in their 40’s and 50’s, so there is scope for all those interested in the game to play.
